Breast Enlargement

Full, shapely breasts can make any woman feel more feminine, beautiful, and secure. We believe that every woman deserves to love her body; that's why we have mastered the art of breast augmentation. Breast augmentation is a cosmetic procedure designed to increase and enhance the size and shape of a woman's breast. The end result is a more curvaceous, sexy bust line and a natural, sculpted look.

During this outpatient procedure, an incision is made under the breast, around the nipple, or under the arm, and a saline-filled implant is carefully inserted under the breast tissue or pectoral muscles. Once the implant is in place, the incision is stitched closed. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with sedation or under general anesthesia and takes one to two hours to complete. During recovery, patients typically experience breast sensitivity, soreness, swelling, and sometimes, temporary decreased nipple sensation. However, most side effects subside as breasts heal (usually within three to six weeks).

Breast Lift

Pregnancy, nursing, excessive weight loss or gain, or the natural aging process can cause breasts to lose their natural elasticity. Breasts may begin to sag or hang. Breast lift can take years off your body by correcting a drooping bust line and restoring your curves to their youthful state.

During the procedure, excess skin and tissue are trimmed away and the bust line is tightened and lifted. Remaining tissue and the nipples will be repositioned to create the most natural-looking results. Risks include scarring, temporary bruising, swelling, and loss of feeling in the breasts or nipples. Nonetheless, breast lift is considered a safe, effective procedure. The procedure takes two or more hours to complete and can be performed in conjunction with breast augmentation.

Breast Reconstruction

Breast reconstruction is commonly performed on women who have had a mastectomy (removal of the breast due to cancer or precancerous condition) or who have breast deformities. Many women feel very insecure or self-conscious about the appearance of their breasts following mastectomy. Breast reconstruction allows their natural curves to be restored and can drastically improve quality of life.

Breast reconstruction techniques are usually performed in stages and can span across six months. The first procedure, which is usually performed at the time of the mastectomy, is the longest and most complex. The subsequent surgeries are usually outpatient and involve minimal pain and recovery.

There are two categories of reconstruction: implant-based reconstruction and tissue-based reconstruction. Implant-based reconstruction involves the use of breast implants and tissue expanders, while tissue-based reconstruction involves the use of the patient's own tissues moved from the abdomen or back to provide volume for a breast mound.

Breast Reduction

Neck and back soreness, bra strap indentations on the shoulders, and general discomfort are all unfortunate realities for women who have exceptionally large, heavy breasts. Oversized breasts can make a woman feel self-conscious and embarrassed as well as physically uncomfortable. Breast reduction is a cosmetic procedure during which the breasts are made smaller, lighter, and more proportionate to the body.

The breast reduction procedure begins with an incision, which is made around the areola (the dark circle of skin surrounding the nipple) and below the natural curve of the breast. Next, excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin are removed, and the remaining skin is tightened around the newly contoured breast. The procedure may take up to three hours and is performed under anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Although there will likely be swelling, temporary bruising, and some pain, these side effects diminish as the breasts heal.

Liposuction

While sticking to a healthy diet and a regular exercise regimen are the best ways to lose weight, many people just can't seem to get rid of fat pockets and cells from problem areas. This is particularly true for the legs, buttocks, hips, stomach, arms, chin, neck, and ankles. Liposuction is a surgical procedure that targets these problem areas and leaves your body more sculpted and toned.

Liposuction begins with a small incision in the area to be treated. Next, a thin, hollow tube is inserted into the incision, and fat cells, pockets, and tissues are vacuumed out and discarded. Liposuction is performed on an outpatient basis under anesthesia and can last two or more hours. Common side effects include temporary bruising, numbness, soreness, and burning sensations, but most of these effects will subside within a few days' or weeks' time. Once the area has healed, the patient should notice a firmer, tighter physique.

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Some people do dozens of crunches a day and still find it impossible to lose the excess fat and skin around the midsection. Luckily, there is a solution—tummy tuck. Tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a cosmetic procedure sure to give you flatter, more defined abs.

Tummy tuck begins with an incision made from one hip to the other, creating a skin flap. Next, the skin is separated from the abdominal muscles, which are then tightened, narrowing the waistline and flattening the midsection. The flap of skin is then folded down and excess skin is removed. Last, the flap is replaced and the incision is stitched closed. The entire procedure takes between three and five hours, depending on how much work is needed. Bruising and swelling (which typically subside within 10 to 14 days) are the most common side effects of tummy tuck.
