Eyelid Reconstruction
(Blepharoplasty)
Droopy, puffy eyes and eyelids can make you appear
fatigued or older than you are. Cosmetic and reconstructive
eyelid surgery, also called blepharoplasty, can return
the skin around your eyes to its natural, youthful appearance
and significantly reduce the signs of aging. In some
cases, it can even improve vision impaired by sagging
lids.
The blepharoplasty procedure begins with an incision
made along the eyelid. Excess fat, muscle, and skin
are then trimmed away from the eyelid. This outpatient
procedure, which typically takes one to three hours,
is performed under anesthesia and is considered to be
permanent in many cases (although it will not prevent
natural aging). Following surgery, side effects such
as dry eyes, swelling, bruising, and sensitivity to
light may occur, but will fade within 10 to 14 days.

Endoscopic Browlift
Horizontal lines on the forehead and creases above
the nose can make you look exhausted, sad, angry, or
older than you truly are. These wrinkles are intensified
by sun exposure, heredity, and weight gain or loss.
Browlift can make the face look years, even a decade,
younger by tightening and lifting forehead skin, thereby
decreasing wrinkles and expression lines. The end result
is a more refreshed, youthful appearance.
During endoscopic browlift, an endoscope is inserted
below the skin, and the skin and underlying muscles
are lifted and tightened. The brow will heal in the
new position. Both the standard and endoscopic forehead
lift methods are often combined with other facial cosmetic
procedures, including facelift, collagen and Botox injections,
or eyelid surgery.

Facelift
Sun exposure, weight fluctuation, and the natural aging
process make skin loosen and sag, resulting in wrinkles
and jowls. The muscles on the neck can slacken, too,
causing you to look years older than you are. Facelift
is a surgical procedure designed to tighten face and
neck skin, reduce fat, and tighten the underlying muscle,
thereby rejuvenating the skin and restoring your youthful
appearance. Fresh, taut skin can make you look decades
younger!
Facelift starts with incisions made along the hairline,
by the ear, on the chin, or along the earlobe. Next,
excess skin is lifted and removed. The remaining skin
is then smoothed, tightened, and secured with sutures.
Depending on the condition of your skin and your desired
results, the procedure may take up to three hours. Side
effects may include swelling, numbness, bruising, and
tightness, but most patients report little pain and
only minor discomfort.

CONTOUR ThreadLift
Introducing a new era in minimally invasive rejuvenation techniques - Contour ThreadLift. The only non-absorbable barbed suture product cleared by the FDA for elevation and fixation of midface and brow.
In general, the best candidates for this procedure include both men and women in their thirties through their sixties who want a more youthful appearance, but do not want a conventional full facelift or browlift procedure. Possible indications may include moderate drooping of the soft tissues of the brow and face; poorly defined upper and midface contours; repositioning of saggy cheeks; lifting sagging eyebrows; and, adjusting asymmetry of brows and face. Once in position, your body generates new collagen bundles that surround each thread to maintain the lifting effect. The exact placement of the threads will vary from patient to patient. The Contour ThreadLift threads are clear in color so they are not visible under fair or thin skin. A typical procedure usually takes about 60 minutes to perform and is performed under local anesthesia in our office.

Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
Changing the shape or size of your nose may be something
you have wanted to do for a long time. Rhinoplasty can
make a nose larger or smaller and can adjust the shape
of the bridge, tip, or nostrils. The procedure can also
correct crookedness, injuries, and breathing abnormalities
that arise due to problems with the internal structures
of the nose. The results of rhinoplasty can increase
your confidence and improve the balance and proportions
of your face.
During the rhinoplasty procedure, which is performed
under either general or local anesthesia, incisions
are made along the rims of the nostrils. By placing
the incisions inconspicuously, there should be virtually
no visible scarring. If the nose is being made smaller,
the cartilage is carefully adjusted and reset. If a
bump is being removed, the excess cartilage is scraped
away. Depending on the individual, rhinoplasty takes
one to two hours to complete, and complete recovery
takes up to a year.

Chin Enhancement (Mentoplasty)
Your chin is one of the most important features in
your facial profile. When you have a small or receding
chin, it can affect the proportion and shape of your
face, making your other features appear larger or longer
than they really are. Chin enhancement, or mentoplasty,
is a surgical procedure designed to reshape the chin
with an implant or reduction of the bone, giving you
a symmetrical, attractive profile.
During the chin enhancement procedure, an incision
is made either in the natural crease under the chin
or inside the mouth where the gum and lower lip meet,
making the scar virtually unnoticeable after healing
is complete. The tissue is stretched and an implant
is gently inserted over the bone, making the chin more
prominent. The implant is custom fit and conforms to
the face for a natural, beautiful look. The entire procedure
is done on an outpatient basis under local or general
anesthesia, and generally lasts 30 minutes to an hour-and-a-half.
After surgery, your face may feel stretched and tight,
but those sensations diminish in about a week.

Lip Enhancement
The lip enhancement procedure is designed to give you
the full, kissable lips you have always dreamed of.
The procedure consists of small incisions at the inside
corner of each lip or an injection with a tiny needle.
Filler materials vary from your own fat to artificial
products like Restylane, a clear, non-animal, biodegradable
gel made of the body's own natural substance. Restylane
is injected into the lips with a tiny needle, giving
you instant results with no scars.
Lip enhancement, which can be done in conjunction with
other procedures, is done under local anesthesia and
usually takes about two hours. You might experience
pain and swelling after the procedure, but it is easily
controlled by medication. After about three days, the
symptoms should subside and you will be ready to show
the world your new, voluminous lips.

Ear Pinning (Otoplasty)
When a child or young adult has especially large or
protruding ears, self-esteem can suffer. Ear pinning
(or otoplasty) is a surgical procedure that can change
the size and shape of the ears. This procedure is most
commonly performed between the ages of five and 14,
but it can be performed on adults as well. Ear pinning
is a highly effective procedure that can improve both
appearance and self-confidence. It is fast, safe, and
extremely effective.
Otoplasty begins with an incision made behind the ear.
Ear cartilage is then sculptured by suturing. Ear pinning
takes two hours to complete, and most normal activities
can be resumed within several weeks.
